Global Summit 2020 is Now Virtual

The Global Summit is an employer-only event designed for global human resources, benefits and well-being professionals to learn and benchmark the latest health and well-being trends and best practices in the multinational workforce.

Due to recent developments related to COVID-19, we recognize that it is no longer feasible to host Global Summit 2020 in-person. However, especially in times like these, we continue to be committed to supporting employers from around the world by delivering timely, relevant, compelling resources, and offering opportunities to convene. As such, we are pleased to announce that we will be reformatting programming to a virtual event.  As a virtual event, the structure of the Global Summit will consist of the following:

  • Virtual Day on Thursday, June 4 at 10:00 am – 3:00 pm ET
  • 8-week Global Summit Virtual Series comprised of 1-hour breakout sessions

This format allows us to preserve the agenda and remain focused on key priorities for global employers:

  • The Coronavirus Global Pandemic – Employer Responses from Around the World
  • Mental Health in the Global Workplace: What's the Evidence?
  • Engaging a changing Global Workforce through your Well-being Strategy
  • Inclusion, Globalization and Well-being: Where are the Blind Spots?
  • Update on Family-friendly and Leave Policies
  • Lean-In: With lean staffs and budgets, how can you make a lot from a little?
  • Mobility and Pre-Assignment Screening
  • Virtual and Innovative Solutions: The True Global Landscape

Convening via summits, conferences, meetings and other avenues is a hallmark of the Business Group. While current circumstances limit or prohibit the ability to convene in person, we can still convene virtually.  Our team and several speakers have worked diligently to curate and develop strong content over the past year. The Business Group is experienced in hosting many virtual events and we are excited to be able to deliver this content to employers.  As the world increasingly moves to telecommuting to maintain productivity while mitigating the spread of the pandemic, your participation in this virtual event enables you to connect and learn from your peers to both maintain momentum and address todays unique challenges.  We hope that you can join us for the Global Summit virtual event.
